The Blackbird 40 is the first speaker in the Jet Series featuring Jensen’s exclusive Reinforced AlNiCo magnet technology. The voice of the Blackbird 40 offers a powerful, controlled bass range and all the sparkly brilliance that is typical of the classic Jensen Speakers. Equally suited to clean, quasi-acoustic tones, to crunchy overdrive ones, up to powerfully distorted lead tones, the Blackbird 40 offers a very distinct yet versatile character. It suits a wide range of applications, form the traditional, warm, jazz, country, rock and blues tones, up to the fiercer brit-style power-chords and lead lines.
